Sisters birthday
Today, on Christmas Eve, Elaine, my baby sister turned 7. . I bought her a Wii and I’ll just say this - I don’t ever remember being as happy getting a present in my life. Yeah we were always pretty poor and I never asked for much, but wow. She has been laughing, screaming, and jumping for joy for the last hour. . Golden Globes
Black Swan was nominated for Best Picture at the Golden Globes. . I understand that this and the Oscars are bullshit award shows, (Case in point Avatar won this award last year - hahahahaha) and that The Social Network will win this award, (which it rightfully deserves to) but this is still awesome. :)

David Lynch
I finally figured it out. To understand a David Lynch movie, all you have to do is go in with the proper mind set. . That mind set is simple: Know that you won’t understand what is going on at all. Seriously. Just be ready for a ride. Watched Inland Empire again and I enjoyed it a lot more this time. . That movie is such a trip that it makes Mulholland Drive seem simple.

My roommate does not get why my other roommate and I always listen to the same songs over and over on repeat. . When I find a new song I like, I put it on repeat. And I am not talking about 2 or 3 times. I can listen to it 20 times in that first day, I just need more. The same is for albums, when I find one I really like I can’t move on to anything else for awhile.
