“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”—
As I am about to leave for the airport, I would just like to wish everyone a happy new year. As I said before, I have high expectations for 2010.
There were many great things that happened in 2009, such as moving out being a high point, meeting members of my favorite band, going to 3 of their farewell shows this year, figuring out what I really want to do in life more then anything, and making a lot of wonderful new friends in the process of it all.
While there were many awesome things that happened this year, it was also filled with a lot of terrible things, such as me being in a terrible relationship with an immature girl who wasted a year of my life. Lastly, and most recently, the person who meant more to me then anyone else on this Earth passed away.
For her, I along with several other friends are flying out and spending New Years at one of her home’s, the one where she most recently lived. I have already told a few of you where I am going. I wish all of you the best that 2010 has to offer. I know this is going to be a great year for me, it has to be.
With that said, my quote of the year is incoming. Cheers!
Hello fellow new follower! To answer your question, it was a fried chicken sandwich, and an omelette with a ton of cheese melted in it! How is your Mexican? I had a lot of it last night at 4am and I am feeling it all day, hope you fare better then I am :)
Trent Reznor leaked a ton of concert footage from NIN’s Lights in the Sky tour last year. A year, and much sweat and tears later; “The Gift” was finally distributed on Christmas day. I finally got around to watching it, and I am really blown away.
I went to Lollapalooza 2 years ago and I saw NIN on this tour, and this really is bringing back some of my favorite moments of that year.
I still remember jumping up and down like a maniac during the guitar part of Hand That Feeds, and staring in awe at the screen behind the band during the encore finale of In This Twilight.
